Last night, the best kept secret in the British music industry this year was announced as Radiohead were unveiled as the headline act at this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival (2009).  This is the first time Radiohead have headlined either music festival.

The announcement surprised me and no doubt countless others; and I am already looking forward to what should be live performances to remember.

The last UK festival to be graced by Radiohead was Glastonbury in 2003 when they delivered a perfect performance. BBC television only showed a few songs on the night of the performance but here is the complete concert.
