New Order – Age Of Consent, LIve at BBC Radio 1 Studios, 1984

On 25th August, 1984 BBC tv showed a whole day of music called Rock Around The Clock.  As part of the live experience was a brilliant live performance by a young looking New Order.  This was back in the day before they looked like fat old middled-aged blokes and would always throw in the odd bum note and out of tune vocal.

The beginning of this version of Age Of Consent, from their second album Power, Corruption & Lies is excruciating.  But the rest of the performance is brilliant.

Love the shorts Barney!
