Mott The Hoople – All The Young Dudes

John Williams - Friday 28.11.08, 07:00am

Mott The Hoople had a few hits during the early seventies, Roll Away The Stone, All the Way to Memphis but none lived up to the expectations of their debut single, written by none other than David Bowie, All The Young Dudes in 1972. Bowie had of course worked with Mott the Hoople’s Mick Ronson on Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars, so probably owed him one.

This clip sounds brilliant but video is rather faint in places.
