Kris Kristofferson teams up with the Foo Fighters in a tribute to Johnny Cash. Kristofferson tells how this was the first song he wrote that Cash recorded.

Kristofferson was never much of a singer but I always loved his gritty vocals and still sounds good to me. A great sad song that includes the excellent lines ‘There ain’t nothing short of dying, half as lonelsome as the sound, of the sleeping city sidewalks,  Sunday morning coming down.’
