A fantastic and rare performance from John Lennon back in 1975 appearing in a recording for The Old Grey Whistle Test, from his home in New York. Here he performs Stand By Me from his album Rock & Roll, a collection of Lennon’s versions of the songs that inspired him to become a musician.
