Fun Boy Three – The End live in 1983

As The Specials get ready for a 2009 reunion UK tour, does anybody remember seeing the very last performance of The Fun Boy Three?

On announcing the three ex-Specials  – Terry Hall, Neville Staple & Lynval Golding – were splitting up they performed a nine minute cover version of The End by The Doors live on Channel 4 in 1983 on one of the music programmes that replaced The Tube.  I think it was Switch.

Terry Hall looks particularly cool here, even now.
