Echo & The Bunnymen - Never Stop

Terry Lane - Friday 25.04.08, 07:00am

Echo & The Bunnymen - Never Stop Live at The Royal Albert Hall, London, 1983

This clip of Echo & The Bunnymen at the height of their commercial success shows them performing Never Stop at The Royal Albert Hall, complete with a string section.

I personally wish Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant (the only two surviving originally members) weren’t still releasing records under the title of Echo & The Bunnymen, it devalues the awesome records of the original fab four.  This clip includes Les Pattinson on bass and the late Pete De Freitas on drums who died in a motorcycle accident in 1988.

The performance was originally shown on the Channel 4 music programme Switch - a short-lived forgettable replacement for The Tube.
