Humble Pie were formed by two of the sixties greatest white R&B voices Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton in 1968. Marriott and Frampton were joined by other high profile musicians, bass player Greg Ridley from Spooky Tooth and drummer Jerry Shirley from Apostolic Intervention, to form what is considered to be the first ’supergroup.’

This clip features the Happy Mondays on their first tour of America in 1990 in support of their album Pills ‘n Thrills and Bellyaches. Capturing the era brilliantly with ‘live’ footage from The Sound Factory in New York.
Happy Mondays defined the ‘Madchester’ music craze as well as the term ‘chemical generation.’
