Originally recorded as a collaboration with trip hop band Massive Attack and Everything But The Girl’s singer Tracy Thorn, Protection was released in 1995.

This version is by Everything But the Girl, recorded in 1999 at The Forum in London. Absolute quality!

My introduction to trip hop, and it never got better than this, Shara Nelson is superb.

I dont what it is about this song but it is one of my alltime favourites, never grow tired of listening to it. Released around 1991, and a big club anthem, Massive Attack-Unfinished Sympathy.
