Blondie – X Offender – 1976

Here’s an early video of Blondie in 1976 miming to X Offender from their debut self-titled album Blondie. The video was recorded before their commercial success with hits such as Denis, , Presence Dear, Picture This, Heart Of Glass & Atomic.

This promotional video was shot even before the New York punk underground had gone overground and the UK punk scene and The Sex Pistols were still relatively unknown.

The New York punk scene gave us Talking Heads, The Ramones, Patti Smith, Wayne/jayne County & the Electric Chairs … and Debbie Harry.
