Big Audio Dynamite - E=MC2, 1985

After being unceremoniously sacked from The Clash, the band he had formed with Paul Simenon, Mick Jones formed Big Audio Dynamite with Don Letts.

In 1985 as Joe Strummer, Paul Simenon and a bunch of session musicians released the truly awful Cut The Crap as The Clash, Big Audi Dynamite unleashed their self-titled debut album.  From it, E=MC2 is for me a classic pop song that never seems dated.
