Does anybody else remember this weird novelty record from American space cadets Barnes & Barnes and their surreal video and song Fish Heads?

I remember seeing this promo video on The Old Grey Whistle Test.  Imagine how odd it sounded sandwiched inbetween rock and post-punk guitars.

Fish Heads was originally released in 1978 but received commercial success in 1980.

Actor Bill Paxton directed and appeared in the music video for the song. The full video starts as a short art movie, reminscent of David Lynch’s neo-surrealist film Eraserhead, before the actual song begins.
